There are a number of reasons why you may want to give a Course away for free.
The most common reason is to use it as a lead-generation mechanism for smaller courses to attract students who you later hope will purchase a paid course from you.
How to make a course available for free
- First, click on the Course you want to edit
- Go to Step 2: Set Course Payment Options and open it
- Make sure the Single Payment tab active, and make sure you don't have any prices set in the 2 sections underneath:
- (IMPORTANT: You need to have NOTHING in the pricing area — not even a zero dollar price like this:)
- When you view the Xperiencify Order Form for your Course, you should see that payment information isn't required to gain access. (To get your Order Form working, you'll need to connect your Stripe account. Here are some instructions for how to do that.)
Note: you don't have to use our order form to give away a free course. For the Growth plan and above, you can add students using our API and Zapier integration.
